Rebirth, rediscovering a renewed enthusiasm - a true Renaissance. That's the best way to describe the many changes happening at Trinity Academy. This fall Latin will be a required part of the middle school curriculum. Principal Mary Cassels explains the many benefits, "Educational studies have shown the stufy of Latin not only improves a student's understanding of the English language but boosts performance in math and science as well."
Students will have ample opportunities to put this theory to the test with the introduction of STEM projects throughout the curriculum and a newly refurbished science lab. As with any true renaissance there comes a resurgence of the arts; to add to the already robust creative arts programs, Trinity will reintroduce instrumental instruction for children in grades 4-8.
With new leadership at the helm, Trinity Academy is reinvigorating course work, class rooms, playgrounds and extracurricular activities, while maintaining an outstanding 1:13 teacher to student ratio. Trinity Academy believes its new programs coupled with a solid tradition in Catholic education, offers the best formula for the leaders of tomorrow. Trinity Academy will host Open House events on October 19 & 26 and November 5. For more information, visit www.trinityk8.com.
